  • Detailed Description:
Plumbago ‘Imperial Blue’ is a long-blooming perennial shrub prized for its profusion of clear sky-blue flowers that cover the plant from spring until frost. Its arching, sprawling habit makes it excellent for borders, mass plantings, or trailing over walls. In most landscapes it’s kept around 3–4 feet tall and 4–6 feet wide, though it can spread further if untrimmed. Heat- and drought-tolerant, it thrives in Gulf Coast gardens and attracts butterflies. With its nonstop color and easy care, plumbago is one of the most reliable summer bloomers in Southern landscapes.
