  • Detailed Description:
The Foxtail Fern is an evergreen perennial prized for its upright, feathery plumes of bright green foliage that resemble fox tails. Tough and versatile, it thrives in part shade to filtered sun, tolerates heat, and requires little care once established. Small white flowers appear in summer, followed by red berries for added interest. In our area, it stays mostly evergreen but may suffer light frost damage in severe winters, quickly recovering in spring. Excellent in borders, mass plantings, or containers, Foxtail Fern provides bold texture and year-round greenery in Southern landscapes.
