Detailed Description:
Elaeagnus ‘Ebbingei’ is a vigorous evergreen shrub prized for its durability and dense, silvery-green foliage. New leaves emerge bronze before maturing, creating year-round interest. In fall, it produces small but intensely fragrant, tubular white flowers, followed by orange-red berries. Fast-growing and tolerant of heat, drought, wind, and poor soils, it is widely used for screens, windbreaks, and large hedges. In our area, it thrives with minimal care and makes an excellent backdrop shrub or natural privacy barrier.
